The LVD stick was designed in collaboration with/and named after Belgian Red Lion, Loic Van Doren. Loic has been using a regular Osaka stick for the majority of his professional career. But after listening closely to his great input regarding the needs of the modern keeper, we came up with the LVD.
The Guard Bow is a relatively straight stick with a slight curve that feels natural in the hands of goalkeepers. The special undergrip system is specially designed to help keepers slide their hands from the front to the back of the grip and regrip at a moment’s notice. The tactile feedback of different substructures helps you build good habits on the goal line.
Another useful feature is the white guideline on the side of the stick - this helps goalies keep track of their stick position in the corners of their vision. Every fraction of a second saved on the goal line can make all the difference in the world.
