The MXR reflects our desire to spread the Mizuno 2000s retro-running experience, as an extension of the globally recognized Wave Rider 10. The MXR name comes from the Maximizer line, a running line that has been offered for years delivering Mizuno quality to a wide audience. The MXR is an entry level silhouette, but remain true to the essence of Mizuno, with high level of quality and technicity. A special attention to the new tooling, with a high-level of details and multiple rubber parts that allows technical color blockings. This version is a continuation of our premium mood, with a synthetic suede overlay and tonal normcore tones. The design of this model has its origins in the Maximizer released in 2009, which was dug up from Mizuno's vast archives amid the spread of retro running shoes in the 2000s.
